Serenata Classical Music Festival is happy to be hosting The Art Stable exhibition, featuring beautiful artwork inspired by the sea as well as work by gallery artists.
The Art Stable is situated locally at Gold Hill Organic Farm in the picturesque Child Okeford, Dorset, displaying temporary exhibitions as well as a permanent space for work by gallery artists. Kelly Ross, who co-founded the London Coram Gallery, set up The Art Stable in 2006 which has established itself as a serious gallery – although in the unusual setting of two converted barns. Specialising in twentieth century Modern British and Contemporary artists, Nicholas Usherwood of Galleries Magazine wrote that the style of The Art Stable gallery “would not be out of place in the West End of London”.
Using the stunning Serenata location at Kimmeridge Bay as inspiration, The Art Stable marquee will be home to paintings of the Dorset Coast by artists such as Lesly Slight, Celia de Serra, Charlie Baird and Howard Phipps.
There will also be sea-themed paintings from further afield, such as Cornwall, Sussex and Canada. Additionally including art considered from a perspective as far as completely imagined! This exhibit includes work by Tom Hammick, George Young, Tobit Roche and Richard Hoare.
Gallery artists that will be exhibited at Serenata include Peter Sedgely, Brian Rice, Ursula Leach and Nick Carrick.
